Techtron® PSGF PPS is a semi-crystalline polyphenylene sulfide [PPS] reinforced with 40% glass fiber. It is a compression molded analogue to Ryton R4 resin. Exhibits high mechanical strength, stiffness & creep resistance at elevated temperatures, very good dimensional stability (minimal moisture absorption and a low coefficient of linear thermal expansion), excellent chemical – as well as hydrolysis- resistance. Has excellent resistance to high energy radiation [gamma- & X-rays], good UV-resistance, inherent low flammability, good electrical insulating and dielectric properties. Is suitable for processing by compression molding. Used in pump housings.
