XANTAR® C CE 407

XANTAR® C CE 407 by Mitsubishi Engineering Plastics is an alloy of polycarbonate (PC) and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) resin containing release agent. It is a 100% chlorine-free and bromine-free, self-extinguishing flame retardant grade with low plasticizing effect. Exhibits 10-15°C higher vicat softening temperature compared to conventional FR PC/ABS grades, low smoke density & toxicity. Offers minimized juicing, outgassing & pollution of processing equipment and processing with high output & high quality performance. Possesses optimized melt viscosity and is clean & brightly colored. It has excellent toughness, high purity and improved stability. Shows increased heat distortion temperature or more robust mechanical performance. Other properties include easier filling of complex parts, lower mold deposit, low volatiles level & reduced fogging tendency, better long-term property retention and improved color consistency and appearance. It is a recyclable, eco-progressive, light weight (versus aluminium or steel trunking) 'green' alternative for polyvinylchloride (PVC). Suitable for processing by profile extrusion and injection molding. XANTAR® C CE 407 by Mitsubishi Engineering Plastics is recommended for installation trunking & slotted trunking, desk cable management, and cable conduit & channel. Complies with 'Blue Angel' & 'WEEE' directives, EN 50085 & NF P 92-507 (M1) and UL flammability regulations.
