APEL™ APL6013T by Mitsui Chemicals is an amorphous, high density, norbornene-type cyclo olefin copolymer (COC) resin. Is optically isotropic, non polar and is developed using Ziegler polymerization technology. Possesses excellent electrical insulating properties, good melt processability, flowability, good clarity, excellent dimensional stability and transparency. Offers high glass transition temperature (Tg), exceptional moisture impermeability and impressive gas barrier qualities. Exhibits outstanding moisture resistance, excellent chemical-, acid-, alkali-, alcohol-, ketone-, ester-, humidity and heat resistance. Provides low coefficient of linear expansion, good thermal, dielectric & electrical behavior, low shrinkage and low moisture absorption. Is suitable for processing by film extrusion. APEL™ APL6013T is recommended for bottle.
