Ingeo™ Biopolymer 3100HP

Ingeo™ Biopolymer 3100HP by NatureWorks is a medium viscosity polylactic acid (PLA) for medium flow injection molding applications. It is designed to crystallize during processing, leading to higher heat deflection temperatures in opaque applications. It is insoluble in water and its applications include cutlery, cups, plates, cosmetic packaging and durables such as electronics housings as well as semi-durable building materials. Ingeo™ Biopolymer 3100HP is FDA-approved, therefore can be used in food packaging materials.
