Ingeo™ Biopolymer 7001D

Ingeo™ Biopolymer 7001D by NatureWorks is a biodegradable polylactic acid (PLA). It is a thermoplastic resin derived from annually renewable resources. It is recoverable in the form of material recycling, energy recovery and composting. It is used in injection stretch blow molded (ISBM) bottle applications for single- or two- stage operations. It is processed at lower temperatures than PET and can attain good resolution of mold detail on conventional tooling. Potential applications for Ingeo™ Biopolymer 7001D include fresh dairy, edible oils, fresh water and health/beauty/amenity.
