DYLITE® F271C

DYLITE® F271C is a high molecular weight, water insoluble, white colored, expandable polystyrene (EPS) resin. Is strong, light weight, biologically & chemically inert, recyclable and does not contain chlorofluorocarbons. Exhibits smooth molded part surface, highly consistent bead size, high gloss characteristics, low energy consumption, fast molding cycles, good thermal insulation and superior temperature retention. Is suitable for processing by foaming. DYLITE® F271C by NOVA Chemicals is recommended for seedling containers, bullet packs, shape molding requiring smaller beads, evaporating casting-lost foam and thinner wall products. Complies with the USA FDA regulations 21 CFR 177.1640 for polystyrene and 21 CFR 178.3010 for blowing agents, Canada food packaging applications, EU food contact regulations including framework regulation EC No. 1935/2004, regulation (EC) No. 2023/2006 (GMP), regulation (EU) No. 10/2011 and directive 2002/72/EC. Meets with the requirements of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
