OPaLene P5101

OPaLene P5101 by ONGC Petro additions is a high density polyethylene (HDPE) grade. Is a very hard grade, exhibiting abrasion resistance, excellent environmental stress-cracking resistance (ESCR), mechanical strength and creep resistance. Provides higher temperature resistance, low coefficient of friction and superior water vapor barrier properties. Possesses low degree of branching, hence stronger intermolecular forces. Designed for pipe extrusion method by slurry process. OPaLene P5101 is recommended for pipes for water supply, civil engineering, drainage, water heater chemicals, corrugated tubes & pipes ducting of pipes, base resin for sheathing of polythene insulated jelly filled (PIJF) cables and jacketing of optical fiber cable (OFC). Meet PE- 80 Requirements.
