ALCUDIA® 49070UV

ALCUDIA 49070UV is a high-density polyethylene copolymer of hexene, with high molecular weight. Contains UV, thermal and light stabilizers. Possesses excellent environmental stress cracking resistance (ESCR), good- mechanical properties and impact resistance. Possesses excellent heat and chemical resistance as well as good impact strength. Designed for blow molding applications like IBC tanks and containers of medium and high capacity (up to 5000 liters), for petroleum derivatives or hazardous products. This grade is suitable to produce containers according to the Spanish UNE-53432 parts 1, 2 and 3 and the EN 13341 in Europe, or NFM-88-560 in France. It is also included in the German DIBT list of materials to contain petroleum derivatives.
