EMI 2562 FR

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by RTP Company
EMI 2562 FR by RTP Company is an electrically conductive, flame retardant polycarbonate and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (PC+ABS) alloy reinforced with 15% stainless steel fiber. It offers electromagnetic interference (EMI), radio frequency interference (RFI) and electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection. It exhibits increased ignition resistance, reduced smoke & fume generation, speed of flame spread & heat release, colorability, good processability and toughness even at low temperatures. It provides dimensional stability, high heat distortion temperature, low temperature impact resistance, poor chemical resistance, weatherability and low fatigue endurance. It can be processed using injection molding. Applications include computer, business machine markets, automotive, healthcare, electrical & electronics and industrial. EMI 2562 FR is used in filler necks, fuel valves & filters, bexels for electronics, electrostatic painting, inhalation devices, ECG sensors, pipette tips, sterilization cases, EMI housings, internal faraday cage modules, elastomeric gaskets, fittings & components for fuel dispensers, conveyor rollers & guides, fuel system connectors, bezels, wire & cable coatings, tape storage products, strain reliefs, control housings for pumps, motors & test equipment, HVAC drain pans, plenum space covers and vents. It complies with the RoHS regulation.
