RTP 1399 X 114875 B is graphite lubricated, glass fiber and mineral filled polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) grade by RTP Company. It replaces oils and grease applied in messy secondary operations with internally lubricated plastics. Exhibits good wear-, friction-, scratch- and mar resistance. It is able to withstand high temperatures, pressure, velocity, chemicals and demanding tolerances. Suitable for processing by injection molding. Possible applications include bearings, bushings, gears, highly cosmetic parts, piston heads, pulleys, rollers, seals, skid plates and syringes. It reduces stick-slip phenomenon by selecting materials based on Glide Factor data. RTP 1399 X 114875 B offers buzz-squeak-rattle (BSR) to eliminate noise caused by part movement and vibration with economical compound technology.
