RTP 227 FR is a polyamide 6-6 (Nylon 6-6) with flame retardant and reinforced with mineral. Exhibits optimal balance of electrical- and ignition- resistance. Enables strength, ductility, stiffness, heat resistance, chemical resistance to hydrocarbons, wear resistance and lubricity. Is suitable for processing by injection molding. Applications include complex, thin walled components to large thick walled housings and metal replacement. Also used in pumps, motors & test equipment, HVAC drain pans, vents and electrostatic painting, electrical & electronic connectors applications. Complies with RoHS.
