RTP 302 TFE 15 FR by RTP Company is a lubricated, non-PBBO/E flame retardant polycarbonate (PC) grade reinforced with 15% glass fiber and 15% polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). It offers increased ignition resistance, reduced smoke & fume generation, speed of flame spread and heat release. It exhibits good creep resistance, toughness, dimensional stability and low fatigue endurance. It provides excellent impact strength, high heat resistance and good electrical properties. It is stable to water, mineral and organic acids, partially soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons and soluble in chlorinated compounds. It can be processed using injection molding. It is recommended for electrical & electronics and industrial applications. RTP 302 TFE 15 FR is used in connectors, bezels, wire & cable coatings, tape storage products, strain reliefs, housings for pumps, motors & test equipment, HVAC drain pans and actuator gearing. It is also used in latch components, leaf spring spacers, bearings, gears, cams, pump impellers, rollers, and sliding components, such as cover panels, doors & latches on consumer electronics. It complies with the RoHS regulation.
