RTP 4285 TFE 15

RTP 4285 TFE 15 is a thermoplastic polyimide (TPI) grade reinforced with 30% glass fiber and 15% lubricated PTFE. It is the most heat resistant thermoplastic available. Exhibits high heat resistance, high strength & stiffness, chemical resistance, wear resistance, excellent properties at elevated temperatures, inherent flame retardance and excellent physical properties. Also, it is an excellent alternative to metal in applications where strength, dimensional stability, and toughness are important. Applications for RTP 4285 TFE 15 include automotives, electricals, electronics, safe & effective medical devices, pump & tool housings, HVAC base pans & fan blades, panels, handles, brackets & components used in heavy equipments, plumbing fittings, valve bodies, gears for conveyor drives and power tools.
