EXTEM™ Resin XH2315 (Europe)

EXTEM™ Resin XH2315 (Europe) by SABIC is an amorphous, halogen-free, flame-retardant thermoplastic polyimide (TPI) blend reinforced with 30% glass fiber. It has high strength, stiffness, creep performance up to 230 °C, good dimensional stability, and is easy to process. outstanding thermal resistance up to 311°C, good ignition resistance, and broad chemical resistance. It retains strength and resists stress cracking when exposed to automotive and aircraft fluids, aliphatic hydrocarbons, alcohols, acids, as well as chlorinated solvents such as methylene chloride. It eliminates the drawbacks of semi-crystalline materials, imidized thermosets, and competitive amorphous thermoplastics, which can require post-molding curing or crystallization. EXTEM™ Resin XH2315 (Europe) is suitable for processing by injection molding.
