LNP™ THERMOCOMP™ DC0041PE-7M1D145W by SABIC is a bio-based, flame-retardant, carbon fiber-reinforced polycarbonate (PC) compound. Exhibits high temperature resistance, excellent mechanical performance & structural properties and good processability. It is halogen free and suitable for processing by injection molding. It can offer potential reductions in carbon footprint of upto 17 percent when compared to the fossil-based incumbent material. It is developed with over 50 percent of recycled content from post-consumer recycled (PCR) resin and pre-consumer recycled carbon fiber sources. Potential applications include thin-wall parts such as housings for consumer electronics, electrical and components like surgical instruments that require good dimensional stability.
