NORYL GTX™ Resin 989 (Americas)

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by SABIC
NORYL GTX™ Resin 989 (Americas) by SABIC is a conductive, non-reinforced, heat stabilized, impact modified alloy of polyphenylene ether (PPE) and polyamide (nylon). It exhibits high heat resistance, high impact resistance and low coefficient of thermal expansion. It provides chemical resistance, good stiffness, low creep sensitivity, low warpage and hydrolytic stability. It is suitable for processing by injection molding. It is optimized for primer-less electrostatic painting and structural applications. It is used in automotive interior and exterior applications such as body panels, tank flaps, fenders, trunk lid and exterior trim. NORYL GTX™ Resin 989 (Americas) is recommended for consumer goods, mass transportation such as heavy truck, specialty and recreational vehicles.
