NORYL™ Resin CN5246 (Asia)

NORYL™ Resin CN5246 (Asia) by SABIC is a 20% glass fiber and 10% mica reinforced blend of polyphenylene ether (PPE) and high impact polystyrene (HIPS). It is a non-brominated, non-chlorinated, halogen-free flame retarded alloy. It exhibits high modulus, good dimensional stability, low moisture absorption and high rigidity. It offers mold release, low creep sensitivity, hydrolytic stability, low warpage and good stiffness. It is processed by injection molding. It is recommended for structural and electronics like printer chassis applications. NORYL™ Resin CN5246 (Asia) is suitable for electrical devices, displays, components and infrastructure. Complies with UL 94 V-1, 5VB flame rating.
