SABIC® HDPE C0549 by SABIC is high density polyethylene (HDPE) designed for jacketing compound. 2.5% Carbon black is added to ensure an outstanding weather and UV resistance. It offers excellent processability, physical properties as well as high environmental stress cracking resistance (ESCR). It is suitable for processing by extrusion. It is used in telecommunication cables, bedding & jacketing compound for medium and high voltage power. SABIC® HDPE C0549 meets with cable product specifications including IEC 60502, Type ST7 & IEC 60708.
