SABIC® PP PPA20

SABIC® PP PPA20 by SABIC is a high gloss polypropylene (PP) impact copolymer (ICP) grade. It offers aesthetically appealing surface with potentially significant cost and energy savings, due to its low density, high flow, shorter cycle time and faster crystallization property. Provides high scratch resistance and low stress whitening with balanced impact strength and stiffness. It delivers well-balanced mechanical & comparable optical properties with superior processability. It eliminates the need for pre-drying and is suitable for processing through injection molding at lower mold and barrel temperatures. The need for improved consumer health safety in food contact appliances can be obtained through phthalate-free polymer technology of SABIC® PP PPA20. It is used in household appliances (coffee makers, steam irons & vacuum cleaners), food storage containers, toys, furniture, personal hygiene appliances and aesthetic fascia for white goods, such as washing machines & refrigerators.
