SABIC® PPcompound H1090

SABIC® PPcompound H1090 by SABIC is a low flow, intumescent, halogen free flame retardant polypropylene (PP) reinforced with 30% short glass fiber. It exhibits excellent stiffness, strength, impact resistance over a wide temperature range, dimensional stability, low coefficient of thermal expansion and good creep resistance.

• It offers good electrical insulating properties, ductility, low density, good performance and processing characteristics.
• It is suitable for processing by sheet extrusion and thermoforming.
• It provides excellent thermal barrier properties to help delay or contain thermal runaway propagation.
• It is used in electric vehicle (EV) battery pack components such as top covers, enclosures and module separators.
• SABIC® PPcompound H1090 complies with UL 94 V-0 flame rating.
