SELVOL™ 125 by Sekisui Specialty Chemical is a white to off-white colored, chemically stable, odorless, super hydrolyzed polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH or PVA) grade available in the form of granules. It is manufactured from vinyl acetate monomer (VAM) via a multistep process. Exhibits high tensile strength, excellent bonding characteristics and ease of film formation. Offers better adhesion to hydrophobic surfaces, solubility in hot water and excellent stability to sunlight. Provides resistance to greases, petroleum hydrocarbons, animal or vegetable oils, organic solvents, water and humidity. SELVOL™ 125 is recommended for tube winding and solid fiber lamination for adhesives, paper applications like surface sizing, casting papers, release papers, flourchemical carrier & creping and speciality molded products.
