SELVOL™ E 523 by Sekisui Specialty Chemical is a polyvinyl alcohol. Offers medium viscosity. It is suitable for PVAC emulsions for wood, paper, packaging and building, surface sizing and anti-grease treatment. It is used in spun yarn sizing/synthetic, filament yarn sizing, finishing, printing, cement mortars, gypsum boards, ceramics binder and coating, protective strip coatings, mold release polyester/ silicone, PVC polymerization and water-soluble films. It is registered in AICS (Australia), CEPA DSL (Canada), TSCA (United States), MITI (Japan), AUSTRIA, CHINA, PHILIPPINES, and SOUTH KOREA. SELVOL™ E 523 conforms to various FDA and BfR regulations for use in food contact applications.
