AvaSpire® AV-651 GF30 BK 95

AvaSpire® AV-651 GF30 BK 95 is a flame retardant, black colored polyaryletherketones (PAEK) grade reinforced with 30% glass fiber. Is a biocompatible and radio-translucent grade. Is suitable for processing by injection molding, profile extrusion and machining. Is autoclave-, Ebeam-, ethylene oxide-, heat-, radiation- and steam sterilizable. Exhibits fatigue-, high heat-, gamma radiation- and steam resistance. Exhibits better dimensional stability, better warp resistance and lower heat deflection temperature than 30% carbon fiber reinforced PEEK grade, 20% higher tensile elongation at yield and twice the tensile elongation at break value when compared to PEEK grades. Provides excellent colorability, higher chemical resistance, higher mechanical strength and stiffness than unfilled AV-650 resin. Used in aircraft applications, healthcare/medical applications like dental & surgical instruments, hospital goods, films, electrical/electronics, seals, transportation and chemical processing. Complies with ISO 10993 and ISO 10993-Part 1 ratings.
