Ixef® GS-5022

Ixef® GS-5022 by Solvay is a biocompatible, aromatic polyarylamide (PARA) grade reinforced with 50% glass fiber. It is an e-beam, radiation and ethylene oxide sterilizable grade. Provides good dimensional stability, flow, high strength, stiffness, good chemical- and creep resistance. Exhibits low moisture absorption, good surface finish, superior wear, friction and mechanical properties. Suitable for processing by injection molding. Ixef® GS-5022 is recommended for medical applications such as structural device housings. Complies with RoHS and WEEE regulations.
