Antero™ 800NA by Stratasys is a high performance polyetherketoneketone (PEKK) grade. Designed for processing by fused deposition modelling (FDM). Offers excellent strength, toughness, low outgassing and dimensional stability. Exhibits wear-, high heat-, superior chemical- and high temperature resistance. Possesses consistent mechanical properties and better elongation in X and Z axis, resulting in tougher parts. Recommended applications include spacecraft parts, and aircraft components exposed to jet fuel, oil & hydraulic fluid. It can be also used for under the hood or in engine compartments and components exposed to hydrocarbons such as acids, fuels & lubricants. Using Antero™ 800NA with FDM technology avoids the waste associated with subtractive manufacturing of high-cost bulk PEKK material. It is available on Fortus 450mc™ 3D Printers and is compatible with breakaway support material SUP8000B. It passes horizontal, vertical, 45° ignition, heat release, NBS flaming and non-flaming burning tests.
