Torlon® 5030-E

Torlon® 5030-E by Syensqo is a flame retardant polyamide-imide (PAI) grade reinforced with 30% glass fiber. Is suitable for processing by profile extrusion. Torlon® PAI has the highest strength and stiffness of any thermoplastic up to 275°C. Exhibits good chemical-, good wear-, good creep-, acid- and high heat resistance. Shows dimensional stability, good electrical properties, high temperature strength and good compressive strength. It has thermal expansion characteristics similar to aluminum. Torlon® 5030-E is used in electrical applications like connectors, switches, housings and relays, thrust washers, spline liners, valve seats, bushings, bearings, wear rings, films, cams, aircraft-, automotive-, electronic-, oil & gas- and machine applications, industrial parts and applications, metal replacement, sealing devices and valve/valve parts. Complies with RoHS.
