EPS Silver® SF500R

EPS Silver® SF500R by Synthos Group is a free flowing, lightweight, recyclable, expandable polystyrene (EPS) large block grade containing pentane as the expansion agent, polymeric flame retardant as additive and an internal modifier. Exhibits medium to high density, good thermal insulating properties, rigidity & dimensional stability. Can be elastified to obtain excellent acoustic properties while maintaining low thermal conductivity at low densities. It is insoluble in water and soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons, halogenated solvents & ketones. Can be processed using foaming. EPS Silver® SF500R is recommended for shape & block molding applications for making insulation boards. Other applications include contour moldings with a wall thickness >10mm like molded building elements and specialist packaging. Complies with RoHS, WEEE, EC Regulation (EC) 1907/2006 (REACH), 1272/2008 (CLP), (EU) No 453/2010 and DIN4102, Part 1, B1.
