830 is a high impact polystyrene (PS) grade. Possesses high melt flow and is designed for hard to fill injection molding applications. Applications include large parts, thin wall parts or molds with complex runner and gate systems. Applications include thin wall injection molding, food and beverage applications, textile spools, health and personal care, insulation, technical parts, medical applications, compounds and masterbatches, disposables, profiles and excellent color concentrate carrier resin. The high flow aids production of stress free parts. Is a FDA 21 CFR § 177.1640, UL94HB and USP Class VI compliant grade.
