740 is an impact polystyrene (PS) grade. Shows a unique combination of thermal properties and high stiffness. Designed for extrusion-, injection molding and is suitable for extrusion thermoforming applications requiring high gloss and high stiffness. Applications include thin walling, high-speed thermoforming gloss, small appliance, food service disposables such as lids, cups and portion cup containers and electronics applications. Is a FDA 21 CFR § 177.1640, UL94HB and USP Class VI compliant grade.
