HIPS 825 E by Videolar is a milky white colored, odorless, water insoluble, low flow, high impact polystyrene (HIPS) grade available in the form of pellets. It is obtained from the styrene monomer, added to 5% up to 15% of polybutadiene. Exhibits stretching capacity, high rigidity, excellent thermal and mechanical resistance. Can be processed by extrusion and thermoforming. Recommended for disposable razors, toys, sheets, electronic components, disposable cups & cutlery, packages, office supplies, automobile & motorcycle parts, furniture handles and houseware items. Complies with FDA for use in food packaging in accordance with 21 CFR 177.1640 and 105/99 ANVISA regulation. HIPS 825 E also meets with regulation (EC) No 1272/2008, EU Guideline 2002/95/EC (RoHS), ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 certification by ABS Quality Evaluations.
