EMAC® SP2268 by Westlake Chemical is a soft, flexible, plasticizers free ethylene methyl acrylate (EMA) copolymer grade with 24% methyl acrylate (MA). Exhibits good heat & radio frequency (RF) sealing, good toughness, good corrosion resistance, good adhesion, excellent environmental stress-cracking resistance (ESCR), high coefficient of friction and high solids fillability. Offers excellent drawdown, low neck-in, broad chemical resistance and processing range. EMAC® SP2268 is compatible with various polymers including paper, polyolefins, oriented polyolefins, polyesters, ionomers, PVC, unplasticized PVC and other polar polymers. Is suitable for processing by injection molding, compounding and lamination. Recommended for films, flexible packaging, disposable gloves, IV containers, tubing and wound care applications.
