Ravago Acquires Aurora & Venture for High-quality PCR-based PP and HDPE Compounds

Ravago acquires Aurora and VentureRavago announces its acquisition of Aurora Manufacturing Ltd and Venture Polymers (UK) Ltd, both market leaders in recycling post-consumer waste plastics in the UK.

This acquisition will extend Ravago’s Ravapura™ product portfolio, hereby increasing opportunities to use PCR-based compounds in a variety of markets and applications.

Strengthening Presence in UK


Aurora and Venture produce high quality PCR-based polypropylene (PP) and high-density polyethylene (HDPE) compounds, with a current production capacity of 20,000 tons per year at their production site in Leigh (Greater Manchester).

The recycling expertise of Aurora and Venture combined with Ravago’s capabilities will support the customer demand for PCR, PP and HDPE compounds. With this acquisition, Ravago has the intention to invest and grow further its operations in the UK.
