Pebax® Rnew® 40R53 SP 01

Pebax® Rnew® 40R53 SP 01 by Arkema is a bio-based thermoplastic acrylic (TPA) grade, made of flexible polyether and rigid polyamide. This SP grade has been developed to be heat- and UV resistant. It is composed of block copolymers consisting of a sequence of polyamide 11 and polyether segments. Offers significant flexibility in a wide range of applications. It is a heat- , light- and UV stabilized grade, exhibiting high chemical resistance and low density. Designed for thermoforming, casting, transfer- and injection molding, film- and profile extrusion processing methods. Can be reinforced with various fillers, used as an additive or in blends with other polymers or rubbers. Pebax® Rnew® 40R53 SP 01 is delivered dried in sealed packaging ready to be processed. Drying is only necessary for bags opened for more than 2 hours. This grade contains 44-48% of renewable resources. Suitable for moisturized conditions.
