Texin® 1209 by Covestro is a plasticizer-free, polyether-based, aromatic thermoplastic polyurethane. Exhibits very good hydrolysis resistance, good low temperature flexibility, resiliency & good impact strength and high moisture vapor transmission rates. It can be processed by injection molding and extrusion. Suitable for over-molding, roof linings, seals, membranes, films, rigid & flexible composite systems and sport shoe soles. Texin® 1209 meets with FDA food-contact regulations 21 CFR 177.1680 (Polyurethane Resins) and 177.2600.
