Texin® 260DE by Covestro is an aromatic polyester-based thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). It is suitable for processing by extrusion, blow molding and injection molding.
  • It is used in belting, hose, cable jackets, hose jackets, athletic soles, film, tubing, and extruded profiles.
  • It provides wide processing window, which allows for ease of film and sheet production.
  • It provides low gel content, good clarity, good abrasion resistance and very good chemical resistance to oils, solvents, and other non-aqueous solutions.
  • Texin® 260DE complies with FDA food-contact regulations 21 CFR 177.1680 and 177.2600.
