Covestro
Texin® 292AE by Covestro is a polyester-based, aromatic thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) grade. It offers low gel content, good clarity, abrasion resistance, chemical resistance to oils, solvents, and other non-aqueous solutions. It is processed by injection molding and extrusion.
  • It is designed for belting, hose, cable jackets, hose jackets, athletic shoes, film, tubing, and extended profiles.
  • It has a wide processing window, which allows for ease of film and sheet production.
  • Texin® 292AE complies with FDA food-contact regulations 21 CFR 177.1680 and 177.2600.
