Covestro
Texin® 987AU by Covestro is a hydrolytically stable, aromatic polyether-based thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) with good clarity. It is suitable for processing by injection molding, extrusion and blow molding.
  • It offers outstanding abrasion resistance, impact strength, toughness and flexibility.
  • It is stabilized against degradation due to heat and UV exposure.
  • Texin® 987AU is designed for belting, hose, cable jackets, hose jackets, seals and gaskets, athletic soles, casters, mine screens, industrial components, tubing, film, and extruded profiles.
  • It is listed under NSF standard 61 for use in potable water applications.
