Texin® RxT80A by Covestro is an aromatic polyether-based thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) with excellent hydrolytic stability. It offers biocompatibility, outstanding abrasion resistance, impact strength, toughness and flexibility. It is suitable for processing by injection molding or extrusion.
  • It is designed for anesthetic connectors, catheters, flexible tubing, film, seals and gaskets and extruded profiles.
  • Texin® RxT80A meets with the requirements of the FDA-modified ISO 10993, Part 1 "Biological Evaluation of Medical Devices" tests with human tissue contact time of 30 days or less.
