SANTOPRENE™ 251-85W232 by Celanese is a hard, flame retardant, colorable polyolefin-based thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) grade. Exhibits good fluid resistance and contains non-ether brominated flame retardants. It does not contain metal deactivators and is recyclable within the manufacturing stream. It is shear-dependent and suitable for processing by profile-, blow-, sheet extrusion, multi injection-, blow- and injection molding, thermo-, vacuum forming. Used in automotive applications like flame retardant connectors and seals, cable jacketing, flexible cord jacketing, electrical-, wire-, cable applications. Recommended for applications requiring excellent flex fatigue and ozone resistance. SANTOPRENE™ 251-85W232 complies with RoHS and UL94 V2 flame rating.
