SANTOPRENE™ 8211-55B100 by Celanese is a soft, specialty, non-hygroscopic, colorable polyolefin-based thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) grade. It is especially formulated to bond to polycarbonate, acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, polystyrene, polymethyl methacrylate, acrylonitrile styrene acrylate, polyethylene terephthalate and PPO/PS blends for applications where hard/soft combinations are required.

• It is recyclable within the manufacturing stream and is shear-dependent.
• It is suitable for processing by coextrusion-, injection- and multi-injection molding.
• It is designed for soft touch applications and recommended for applications requiring superior part surface appearance.
• It is used in automotive applications like grips, HVAC flapper door seals, interior and under the hood.
• It is utilized in consumer applications like floor care, electronics, kitchen tools, power tools, writing instruments, sporting goods, living hinges, cell phones, strain reliefs, tie-layer, eyeglass frames, kitchenware, seals & gaskets, soft-touch grips, white goods and small appliances.
