Medalist® MD- 23115

Medalist® MD-23115 by Teknor Apex is an opaque, phthalates-, DEHP-, latex- and BPA-free thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) elastomer grade. It is designed to replace thermoset rubber, with excellent sealing properties including low long-term compression set and elastic stability. Exhibits high fatigue resistance, stability at high temperatures, and chemical resistance. It is compatible with ethylene oxide sterilization. It is non-hygroscopic and its light natural color provides improved colorability versus standard TPVs. It is well-suited for small and high-precision parts using complex multi-cavity tools. Is suitable for processing by injection molding and overmolding. Recommended for health care industry in applications such as o-rings, seals and gaskets, valves, diaphragms and other components used in the manufacture of medical devices. Medalist® MD-23115 is made with FDA-compliant ingredients and complies with ISO 10993-5 & REACH SVHC.
