Medalist® MD-23173

Medalist® MD-23173 by Teknor Apex is an opaque, phthalates-, DEHP-, latex- and BPA-free thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) elastomer grade. It is non-hygroscopic and its light natural color provides improved colorability versus standard TPVs. Exhibits high fatigue resistance, stability at high temperatures, and chemical resistance. It is compatible with ethylene oxide sterilization. It is designed to replace thermoset rubber, with excellent sealing properties including low long-term compression set and elastic stability. It is well-suited for small and high-precision parts using complex multi-cavity tools. Is suitable for processing by injection molding and overmolding. Recommended for health care industry in applications such as o-rings, seals and gaskets, valves, diaphragms and other components used in the manufacture of medical devices. Medalist® MD-23173 is made with FDA-compliant ingredients and complies with ISO 10993-5 & REACH SVHC.
