BLUESIL™ HD 1060 U by Elkem Silicones is a hot curing silicone rubber after addition of a vulcanization agent. It offers easy processing, low compression set and outstanding tear strength. It exhibits good heat stability up to 225°C and good oil resistance. It shows major potential for blending with mix and fix range master batches. It can be processed by calendering, extrusion, compression and injection molding. BLUESIL™ HD 1060 U is used in production of turbo hoses, parts for EGR system, gaskets, grommets, spark plugs, and miscellaneous profiles.
