BLUESIL™ RTV 1597 A/B by Elkem Silicones is a two component, addition cure, room temperature or heating curing silicone elastomer. It possesses medium hardness and high strength. It offers low viscosity, high tear & cut resistance, and easy release for long lasting molds. This grade possesses high temperature and chemical resistance with excellent flexibility, low shrinkage, and well-defined detail reproduction. It is ideal for prototyping applications, conventional production & prototype molds, finish rubber parts and stereolithography (SLA) molds. It is also used in picture frames, mirrors & furniture molding, giftware, furniture & artistic molding, electronic encapsulation and epoxy laminate molding. The shelf life of BLUESIL™ RTV 1597 A/B is 18 months.
