BLUESIL™ TCS 7550 A/B by Elkem Silicones is a two-component heat-curing liquid silicone elastomer that cures by a polyaddition reaction. It exhibits good fire resistance and low thermal conductivity (high insulation properties). It shows a fast cure at elevated temperature, long bath life at room temperature (>16 hrs) and high bond strength without primer. BLUESIL™ TCS 7550 A/B is specially engineered for industrial and high-performance textile coatings for example thermal insulation applications. It is also used in bonding coated and uncoated fabrics. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
