Proxima® HPR 2013

Proxima® HPR 2013 is a filler-compatible, general purpose, ultra-low viscosity two-part olefin thermoset system created by Materia. Offers low water absorption as well as a good balance of thermal and mechanical properties. Designed with proprietary blends of DCPD & other co-monomers and additives. Suitable for fabrication by reaction injection molding, resin transfer molding, vacuum-assisted resin transfer molding and rotomolding. Possible applications include automotive, electrical/ electronics, industrial infrastructure, oil & gas, transportation and wind energy. It features heat tolerance & processability of thermoset, excellent impact strength & damage tolerance of thermoplastic, as well as low moisture absorption and corrosion resistance of fluoropolymer. Proxima® HPR 2013 is an alternative for traditional resins including epoxy, vinyl ester and polyester resins.
