Proxima® HPR 2029

Proxima® HPR 2029 by Materia is an ultra-low viscosity, filler-compatible two-part olefin thermoset system designed for superior high-temperature performance. Shows high glass transition temperature and offers low water absoption as well as formulation possibilities with a wide range of mineral and other fillers. Suitable for fabrication by reaction injection molding, resin transfer molding, vacuum-assisted resin transfer molding and rotomolding. Possible applications include automotive, electrical/ electronics, industrial infrastructure, oil & gas, transportation and wind energy. It serves as an alternative for traditional resins including epoxy, vinyl ester and polyester resins. It features heat tolerance & processability of thermoset, excellent impact strength & damage tolerance of thermoplastic, as well as low moisture absorption and corrosion resistance of fluoropolymer. Proxima® HPR 2029 is created with proprietary blends of DCPD & other co-monomers and additives.
