PFX 8048

PFX 8048 by NEXA® is a high temperature resistant perfluoroelastomer (FFKM). It offers low contamination, excellent thermal stability, chemical resistance and compression-set resistance at very high temperatures. It has very stable behavior at high temperatures, allowing the use in critical applications such as Stage II sterilization processes, where other type of elastomers lose their sealing capabilities. Moreover, it is developed for SIP (Steam in Place) cleaning and WFI (Water for Injection) systems. PFX 8048 is used in thermal- & diffusion processes and food handling applications. Complies with FDA CFR 177.2600.
