SURPREN™ SN238 by Sundow Polymers is a general purpose chloroprene rubber. Exhibits high mooney viscosity, excellent cohesion & good physical properties when a large amount of fillers and oils are added. Contains talcum as a release agent and has no mechanical impurities. It is obtained by mercaptan modified and chloroprene monomer by emulsion polymerization. Offers good adhesion and good heat resistance. Shows medium rate of crystallization and good solubility. SURPREN™ SN238 is suitable for highly loading production goods. Designed for hoses, tapes, rubber seals, adhesive cements, hard goods, wire and cable jackets.
