Tecnoflon® BR 9171

Tecnoflon® BR 9171 by Solvay is a low-medium viscosity peroxide curable fluoroelastomer. Exhibits excellent processability and excellent resistance to aggressive oils, sour gases, amine containing fluids, bases, and steam. Offers very good low temperature flexibility. It can be cross-linked using organic peroxides in conjunction with a co-agent. Tecnoflon® BR 9171 can be processed using compression molding, injection molding, transfer molding, extrusion and calendaring. It is recommended for shaft seals, valve seals, O-rings, gaskets, hoses or profiles and sheet stocks or belting applications.
